THE ABLE LABEL: EVENTS ROUNDUP - SEPTEMBER
Here at The Able Label HQ we have been quite a sociable bunch and made it out to quite a few events over the summer, showing off our beautiful range of easier to dress clothes. We showcased the range at The Kent County Show, which proved a huge success, have been to numerous fairs and have been out to all the fashion shows to spot and bring you the latest trends in our new ranges.
Now looking forward, we are getting ready for winter! We have just as busy a month planned for September and wanted to update you on where we will be and what we will be doing:
Audley Homes, Mote House: Fashion Show

We are teaming up with Audley Retirement Homes at Mote House to put on a fashion show for the homeowners who have also kindly volunteered to participate in the show.
RISE 4 Disability: Tradeshow
7th September, 10am – 4pm
Kent Showground, ME14 3JF – Stand B20
Free admission
A free event open to healthcare professionals and the public, the show provides information, training and live entertainment as well as motivational speakers.
RISE 4 Disability comes to Kent for the first time. You can find us on stand B20 where we will have some of our new Autumn Winter styles available to see!
The Eve Appeal: Fundraising
September
More than 21,000 women in the UK are diagnosed each year with gynaecological cancer, which equates to 58 diagnoses each day. Despite gynaecological cancer being the second most common cancer among women in the U.K. awareness of gynaecological cancers is very low.
September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month and The Eve Appeal supporters are gathering friends and family to join for the annual campaign.
Every day in the UK 58 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer and 21 will die. The Eve Appeal is determined to improve this state of affairs and we will be supporting them by attending a shopping party co-hosted by Athena Lamnisos, CEO and Sally Bailey, Vice Chair of the charity. We will be donating 20% of sales on the evening to the charity.
World Alzheimer’s Month
September
Every September, World Alzheimer's Month campaigns to raise awareness and challenge the stigma that surrounds dementia. Launched in 2012, the international World Alzheimer's Day is on 21 September each year.
The impact of World Alzheimer's Month is growing, but the stigmatisation and misinformation that surrounds dementia remains a global problem, that requires global action. Dementia is the leading cause of disability and dependency among the elderly.
We work closely with Alzheimer’s Society and will be continuing to donate to the charity. 100% of Alzheimer’s Society profits help to fight dementia!
